The aluminium ring is not fixed.
Zoom can not be ajusted easy because aluminium ring slip.
Even ring have threads the eye pice is not tide on alim. piece and slip.
If you tide it it works in one direction after changing diraction the ring it will be untided and slip
Now i used holding by numbers ring and turn.
Is a design CAD failure.
I use with some ruber rings between section to increase friction between pices.(see photo)
No waste you money with such a eyepices.
I will buy one from Omegon .
I will not returned because optical is functional, mechanical is a disaster.
