Temu | Republic of Korea | Accessibility Guide

1. Our approach to accessibility

Temu is committed to making online shopping usable by everyone, and we continue to strengthen the accessibility of our app and website so that every user can browse and buy from the full range of products on Temu.

This page explains what we support today, how we maintain it, and how to reach us if something does not work as it should.

2. Screen reader support

2.1 Mobile app and mobile web

Temu is compatible with the screen readers built into mobile operating systems:

Operating systemScreen readerStatus
iOS / iPadOSVoiceOverSupported and tested
AndroidTalkBackSupported and tested

We have tested the core shopping journey end to end with both screen readers. Users relying on VoiceOver or TalkBack can browse product listings, view product details, place an order and complete payment.

How to turn on your screen reader?

  • iPhone / iPad: Settings → Accessibility → VoiceOver → toggle on. You can also triple-click the side or home button if the Accessibility Shortcut is enabled.
  • Android: Settings → Accessibility → TalkBack → toggle on. Menu names may differ slightly by manufacturer and Android version.

Once your screen reader is on, open Temu as you normally would — no separate mode, setting or app is required on our side.

2.2 Desktop web

On our PC website we work to ensure the page structure itself is readable by assistive technology. Temu is compatible with the screen readers commonly used as follows:

Operating systemScreen readerStatus
WindowsJAWS, NVDA, NarratorSupported and tested
macOSVoiceOverSupported and tested

How to turn on your screen reader?

  • Windows — JAWS / NVDA: start the program first, then open your browser and go to Temu.
  • Windows — Narrator: System Settings → Accessibility → Narrator → toggle on.
  • macOS — VoiceOver: System Settings → Accessibility → VoiceOver → toggle on.

Other screen readers and operating systems. We build the Temu website using standard web technologies so that our pages can be interpreted correctly by screen readers other than those listed above, including those on Linux and other platforms. If you use a different screen reader, browser or operating system and something on Temu does not work as expected, please tell us — see 3. How we maintain accessibility below.

3. How we maintain accessibility

Accessibility is not a one-time project for us. We collect feedback from users on an ongoing basis and use it to improve the accessibility of the shopping experience over time. Reports from users who rely on assistive technology are particularly valuable to us.

If you encounter a page or function on Temu that does not work correctly with your screen reader or other assistive technology, please contact using the following channels:

  • if you are using a Temu website, please contact Temu customer service via the "Contact us" page linked in the website footer; or
