Temu and PostNL, the leading postal and e-commerce logistics solutions provider in the Netherlands, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen their logistics collaboration by enhancing a convenient fulfillment experience for consumers and sellers in Europe.
The collaboration combines Temu's expertise in e-commerce and streamlined supply chains with PostNL's capabilities in parcel processing, transport and logistics management.
As part of the agreement, Temu will promote diversified delivery options including out-of-home delivery through the growing, nationwide Automated Parcel Lockers-network of PostNL and pick-up and drop-off retail-locations, thereby improving the out-of-home experience for consumers.
PostNL will provide logistics solutions for Temu’s Local Seller Program, allowing sellers in the Netherlands and other markets to more easily send their parcels with PostNL within the Netherlands and with Spring GDS within Europe, enabling them to reach new customers and grow their businesses.
“PostNL is committed to strengthening the reliability, sustainability and efficiency of e-commerce delivery across Europe,” said Tijs Reumerman, CEO of Spring Global Delivery Solutions at PostNL. “We continue to enhance the delivery experience for customers and businesses in the Netherlands and other markets.”
Temu entered the Netherlands in 2023 and opened its platform to local sellers last year. Since then, it has offered businesses in the Netherlands and across Europe a cost-effective channel to reach new customers and expand their operations.
“Through this partnership with PostNL, we aim to further improve the logistics experience for consumers and businesses across Europe,” said a Temu spokesperson.
