Why does my cancellation request require seller approval?

For some items sold and shipped by third-party sellers, if you try to cancel an order more than 30 minutes after placing it, your request will require seller approval to confirm whether the items have already been packed or shipped. The final outcome on whether your request is successful depends on the seller's review.
