1. Policy Overview
If you find an identical item sold at a lower price on another shopping website/app in the same country/region within 30 days after paying for your Temu order, you may submit valid proof to request a refund of the price difference. Upon approval, the difference will typically be refunded in the form of Temu Credit.
2. Eligibility & Process
I. Eligible Items
Most items on Temu are eligible for price matching, except: second-hand/refurbished items, customized items, pre-sale items, bundled items, gifts, and items requiring a subscription to purchase.
II. Request & Review Timeline
Request window: Within 30 days after payment.
Review period: Results are typically provided within 2 business days after the request is made.
III. Proof Requirements
Eligible platforms: Other shopping websites or apps excluding Temu.
Screenshot requirements: The item's price, photo, name, brand, specifications, model, size, material, color, and sales volume (if applicable) must all be clearly visible.
Price criteria: Must be the publicly listed price (available to all customers and not including coupons, credit, or additional discounts).
Product link: This is used to verify that the product is identical and to confirm price validity. Your request may be denied if the link is inaccessible or if the price changes during the review.
IV. Limits on Frequency & Amount
To ensure fairness, the following rules apply:
Only one price difference refund is allowed for the same item in the same order.
A monthly cumulative refund limit of $200 and up to 10 requests for the same item across different orders.
A monthly cumulative refund limit of $500 per user.
If a refund has been issued under Price Adjustment, the item is not eligible for Price Match, and vice versa.
3. Approval Criteria
I. Valid & Authentic Proof
Screenshots must be unaltered, complete, and legible.
Links must be accessible during the review process. Your request may be denied if the link is inaccessible.
II. Sales Conditions
The item you bought on another platform must be identical in all aspects to the item purchased on Temu, including but not limited to: name, brand, specifications, model, size, material, color, and quantity.
The item must be in stock and available for purchase in the same country/region. If the sales volume is displayed, it must exceed 10.
Excluded items: second-hand/refurbished items, opened/damaged items, rented items, customized items, pre-sale items, bundled items, gifts, and items requiring a subscription to purchase.
III. Lower Price Requirements
The competitor's price must:
Be in the same currency as your Temu order.
Remain valid and accessible during the review, even when not logged in. Otherwise, the lower price cannot be verified as available to all users.
Prices that are lower due to special promotions or discounts are not eligible for Price Match, including but not limited to:
Prices that require the use of additional coupons.
Prices with a short validity period or limited stock (e.g., flash sales, limited-time deals, clearance sales).
Discounts that apply only when purchasing a certain quantity.
Discounts granted upon completing specific tasks (e.g., referral rewards, cashback offers).
Discounts available only to specific user groups (e.g., members or new users).
Abnormally low prices that are significantly below market cost (e.g., pricing errors) are not eligible for Price Match.
Regular purchases are not eligible for comparison with special promotional prices during specific periods (including but not limited to Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc.).
Note: Partial refunds may be issued if the proof does not have enough detail but meets specific criteria.
4. Disclaimer
Temu reserves the right to amend this policy and retains the final authority to interpret and determine the outcome of all requests.
If a user submits fraudulent proof or engages in other violations, Temu reserves the right to revoke their Price Match eligibility and reclaim any issued refunds.
